Objective
The work packages 1 to 5 enable a comprehensive risk assessment for anthropogenic trace organic contaminants and pathogenic organisms in the urban water cycle. The objective of the work package "risk management" is the development of a comprehensive risk management system.
Key activities
- Examination of the existing systems for risk management
- Exemplary realization of a risk based and process orientated risk management in operation focusing anthropogenic trace organic contaminants and pathogenic organisms
- Integration of existing approaches into the built up risk management system
- Development of a new communication strategy for anthropogenic trace organic contaminants and pathogenic organisms based on the results of work package 4
All necessary steps for the hazard analysis, the risk assessment and arrangements for risk control are described in a detailed way and different options are illustrated in a matrix.
